Walking Through an Art Deco Style Gated Community

The clients brought a fresh perspective to our design process with their unique requirements and real estate background. Their aspiration was to create an appealing elevation inspired by the Art Deco style for a gated community in a prime city location. Their preference for a budget-friendly yet striking frontage that stands out to buyers shaped our approach from the beginning.

Design Development
From our initial discussions, it was clear that the clients had a strong vision rooted in modern-contemporary and Art Deco style elevations. Their requirements for privacy, parking, and visual appeal guided the design for this G+1 residence.

Understanding the Planning
As this is primarily an elevation-based exploration, we focused on what appears at the front façade rather than full floor plans. The main entry is strategically placed on the side of each villa to maintain privacy within the gated community.

The front elevation features master bedrooms and walk-in closets across floors. On the terrace level, a partial terrace along with an additional bedroom adds volume to the façade.

On the ground floor, the front elevation includes the kitchen and utility areas, with a horizontal-view window to maintain symmetry. The walk-in wardrobes feature a fixed glass element that continues vertically through all floors—this became a prominent detail in the Art Deco style elevation. Balconies and terrace cut-outs further enhance the overall design.
